Open questions (spoilers)

So, I finished the game but I have a couple of loose ends:

Who or what was the creature in the pit in the cave? Is there a way to mention it to Armitage?
How can one eavesdrop on the conversation on the island (to get the achievement)?

I enjoyed this game a lot! Hope there will be sequels :)

My question: is there a key to open the locked trapdoor in the witch's attic?.

You eavesdrop on the conversation by visiting the island during night when there are lights out there. Get close to the strangers and hear all they say just standing there.

Mine: What happens if you do not free the creature in the cave and come back later with the policeman? Is It still there?

I don't think you can go down together with the police - you either show them the cave entrance or tell them, there will be a rituatl.

Good quastion, I managed to open it only on MAy Eve after killing the witch, you can find it on her corpse

I finished the game about 6 or so times now, tried to get all the different stuff, now I just need to do a 0 occult run. And I do have a few questions:
What about Allion's picture? is it only there so you can fix the forged one?
Can you do anything with the raven outside the house?
The lights on the faculty basement are just there so sometimes you have to light it or is there some use to it?

I think that either Antti cut some stuff out of the game or is planning to expand it, like how you get free from the special collection, it's one of the few puzzles that has only one solution.

No idea about the lights in the basement, if they have a possible function - never thought about that. I had to escape from the special collection room once - but then I would not go through this basement.

The raven - seeing him, for me it was clear, I would dream - but nothing to do with him so far.

Would be nice, if there were an expansion ! I love the game as it is, but why not. I did a zero occult run, but must admit, you loose a lot of thrill - you may become a math champ but are not allowed to read the interesting stuff... so, do it for the achievement but.. it is not as satisfying as the other runs.

I did the 0 occult run yesterday, since the dev pointed that you need to be under 1.0, I did the following to get the good ending: you need at least 1 to work on the thesis, so I studied and got up to 1.2 or something, plus you'll get 0.5 when you get the full story from joe, so I did all those things so after that I could tell the story to frank and allison, if you choose rational explanation you'll get -0.5 from each. The only thing you won't be able to do is use the portals, but you can still save the child when you kill the witch

The creature is a reference to one of Lovecraft's short stories, called "The Unnamable". I don't think you can mention the creature to Armitage, just that there's a secret cave in the unvisited island.

Also, if you check the newspapers after freeing the monster, you'll see news about it killing people in the night.

Thanks! I remember that short story! I would have liked to have the background story of the monster nevertheless!

When I eavesdrop on the island they mention something is blind? Are they referring to the thing in the pit and can I avoid it by opening the trap door from behind or something?

I found three pieces of knowledge from special collection books (dimension travel, elder sign, musical pattern) but there are five books. Are there 2 other pieces of knowledge I missed or is there repetition?

Yes, and you can run from the thing in the pit, If you're quick you can escaped unharmed. (At least physically, your mental state on the other hand...)

As far as I know there are only three pieces of knowledge
You can also find one in a cigarette case in the pit.

I ended up doing just that with the pit in my expert run.

I was leaving out the spoiler, but I'm curious if you can start with a book that has no special knowledge or if its the first 3 you complete (spoiler excepted).
