I like Kirei, he's an absolute bastard that only finds joy in people's suffering, in contrast to Shriou who only finds joy in seeing other people happy. Great character dynamic.

Gil is, eh, I like his caster version more than his archer version. But the Gil we see here seems to be much closer to caster than he does archer in terms of personality.

You also have to understand with gilgamesh, archer and caster are him from different points in his life.

Archer was young gilgamesh..

Caster was after he had life experiences that put him in check..

I don't think anyone hates cu.. I mean the guy had a contract with kotomine and still killed him for trying to rape rin...

He's like that main hero everone loves..

Im more surprised Sasaki wasnt put as a playable or something given he trained Iori after Musashi died

And i do be wishing Douman was put for chapter 4 plot. Hes my favorite and i would pay with my soul to have him

Considering how the usable FGO version is "kinda" not real/mixed origin I'de guess there's something going on with the "Sasaki Kojiro" deal. As he supposed to have not existed at all in the real history.

As for the gil we have in F/SR, it's very likely this is the Extra version that got summoned or this is set in the Extra-verse.

Yeah Sasaki said so in unlimited blade works that he got summoned by caster because hes not a real heroic spirit because theres no "real" evidence he existed and is just a myth.

Back in my time,Sasaki was everyones favorite samurai but now its either musashi or okita.

This Gilgamesh is class Ruler so he probably acts like the class unlike Jeanne and dosent involve himself in the war because it would be unfair.

Well he is still alive in this timeline but could have been used maybe as Iori to fight servants.
We already had humans fight servants before so possible, Artoria and Bedivere

They could make is a prequel too set in Heian period given that one has lot of servants there like genji clan.
Ngl i prefer this old settings compared to current ones where most of Fate is set in.
