Gameplay
So, I'm definitely planning to buy eventually. I would just like to know how much freedom of movement you get when you're playing. Is it an open world, or does the story force the pace of your exploration (assuming there is any exploration)? I personally like exploration in games, so I'm hoping to possibly have more freedom in a Fate world.

I'm not far into it but so far it seems to be gated exploration tied to the story, Again I'm not even into chapter 2 yet so I can't say for sure.

Areas open and close based on progression, each area has its own little local quests to tackle with, as for the encounters, those vary between 10 second in and out and drawn out slug fest which will take ages, depends on your current gear and servant strength.
