And the original Fate/stay night VN is only technically hentai in that it has sex scenes in it. But those are just a small handful of scenes over a 60-hour game (100+ if you go for a full clear). And that was only the very first release. Every re-release since then has replaced the H-scenes with something less adult-oriented.
Except the VN is not a "hentai" game, It was not a sex focused game. You could spend like 10 hours reading before you reach a seg scene.
Yuuichirou Higashide who wrote the original Light Novel for Fate/Apocrypha is part of the writing staff for both FGO and this game
Also, Hikaru Sakura is working on the story too, its not all by Yuichirou Higashide. And the supervision is done by Nasu.
Wouldn't that make the comparison more apt since Samurai Remnant also features a Grail War knockoff given the presence of both rogue servants AND a Ruler?
