I don't get it is Saber a boy or a girl?
You have a ton of characters referring to Saber as a girl but Iori and the game logs always use gender ambiguous language and question marks.

Just curious are they a boy or a girl?

It is said the tale resembles much of that of the King Arthur legend. Hence it is also possible this guy’s a female trying to look a male like the previous Fate.

Since this is fate series we are talking about Blue Sable is both a woman and man but this sable class is same way. Don't be surprise we get a new version that is more female or male in the future. Currently speaking i think their are non-gender but with female looks but boyish build just to keep you stuck in loop of asking yourself this. WHO cares at this point, if you her/him it's your waifu and we love them no matter. ^_^

Many of my waifu's are non-gender character types who could be either but my guess never been wrong yet. After confirming with their creators who try to hide it but slip up and say it.

Here's my quick and dirty breakdown. Saber has always been a female in every fate series. In this game saber presents as a female, everyone addresses her as a female, and she's voiced by a female. Shorter version; go with whatever is voicing it.

@ChemChong, false on both accounts. There are multiple Fate entries where Saber is male AND not everyoen addresses her as a female.

In terms of a story where the main character summons a Saber that isn't a girl, I can only think of Arthur from Prototype and Richard from Strange Fake. I'd say traditionally there has been a case of saber being a girl, but in recent years they've started to mix it.
Yamato is supposed to be in the middle as a mor androgynous character. Although the FGO version has some really guy like characteristics.
