Yes, Fate stay night is the main fate series. Fate stay night is the visual novel. It is really good and better than the anime adaptations in my opinion. Not to say the anime adaptations are bad, they just aren't as good as the visual novel.

Nah, it's just this: 7 servants, 7 classes controlled by 7 mages fight for the Holy Grail that grants a wish. Everything in Fate is an alternative universe unless there's a clear connection.

Well here it seems like there are 14 servants, somewhat similar fate Apocrypha, but without 2 sides. We have the 7 servants, plus 6 rouge servants and a ruler.

As most entries of Fate, this does not require anything at all.

I don't want to spoil something, but logically speaking, you could discuss if this Musashi can even be the same as the FGO Musashi, so feel free and have fun
