It's Koei Tecmo, they made a bunch of proper ARPGs, including Nioh...but kids be kids and be too retarded to realise what is made by whom.

...claims without proof of it gonna be Musou are just empty claims.

Even if it turns out the game is a Musou, licensed Musous tend to be the best of the Musou games in terms of effort and polish. I'm quite excited regardless of what it ends up being.

There generally good if they are not Dynasty Warriors itself. LoL. On the contrary I've been avoiding these games expecting a fighter. The anime is generally really good. If it's Musou and not a fighter then maybe I'll consider giving the games a try.

A mousu is fine. Yes dw, sw are most well known. But Arslan, berserk, and that lover boy one all had unique ideas and fun gameplay.

I never got more than 45 minutes into nioh, or 2. Not much a dark souls type fan.

But I did enjoy final fantasy stranger of paradise. This is a nioh type game.

Not to mention the kinda reverse Musou Attack on Titan and also Hyrule Warriors, which had nice boss battles and stuff.


But seeing how the few Warriors games I randomly checked are just classified as "Action" by the publisher on Steam, and this as "Action RPG", I doubt it's gonna be a Musou.

Agreed. As much as I like musou, i personally find musou games repetitive and we already have other musou Fate games. This should be something different, we need a proper Fate game.
