No PS4 Controller Support?

I've fiddled with the game for 10 minutes now. It simply just refuses recognizing my PS4 controller. And I've checked, i can do controller changes through the Steam settings.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

It's wired. And yeah, that's the weird thing. I've already used it on three different Steam games, all working completely without issues. I can even use Big Picture Mode with that controller. But Aperture Desk Job does nothing.

My logitech game pad which is basically a PS4 clone seemed to work fine right out out of the box. Others have said that their PS4 does work for them.

Just sorta annoying having to download a third-party program for this single game to properly function. But sure.

Yup. I can also use it in those menus. I don't know what else to say.

There's a likely case where there's an external input mapper you have running in the background, or a specific driver that is preventing Steam (and many games) from detecting your PlayStation Controller. Since this tech demo uses Steam Input API, I highly recommend avoiding Input Mappers for this game

For drivers: I highly suggest you use Legacinator by Nefarious [github.com] (best known as the lead of ViGEm) that checks if you got a outdated or old driver and it'd get rid of em.

For Input Mappers: please check if one of them is still running in the background.

I had no problems playing with a PS4 controller. My only suggestion would be to make sure you have the PlayStation box checked in general controller settings.

had no problems with an xbox controller and with an dualshock controller, both worked fine.

I used my PS4 controller with no issues. The part near the end where I had to use L4, L5, R4, R5 underside buttons to rocket up I was able to achieve by pressing all shoulder buttons at the same time.

I found that the trackpad provided superior aim to either gyro or thumbsticks, but gyro should always be used in conjunction.
