British reinforcements
Can we please increase the amount of time it takes British to get reinforce because them get reinforce in 2 to 3 days is dumb it normal took a month maybe two months to get from Britain to america with sailing ships. Some ships are lost during the transit so not all 650 plus soldiers are making it to land. Boston has like 14k soldiers in less than 3 months and you can no longer really take Boston.

I've found it best to take as soon as you can before they get reenforced. Brits don't invade by sea during the winter so you get a breather after taking Boston

in liberty or death it takes everything to hold boston, i only play briitish, general gage was a governor but a lousy commander, once the us take boston it is easier to move from ontario south or quebec as the british, boston is to hard to go after right away, or hold it like i did with very high casualties and probably abit of luck

Yeah but still if your trying to keep it historical then boston should only be defend by 3,000 troops at any given time. Boston historical has to fall and so does the fort ticonderoga for the story of the American revolution to be accurate.

And the fact they get no attrition and come out off the ships combat ready. If you know where they will land and park you're troops there everyday you loose troops ... they don't.

Disregarding anything else, it is stupid that those reinforcements appear immediately ready to fight, like they just walked down the corner to a convenience store or something. Like, you can imagine they may have lost supplies or at least readiness from being on a ship for so long...

i agree it makes no sense, very few armies in history have land on enemy territory and could fight immediately and even that is pushing it since it ends up being a light skirmish and if it does become a full battle typically the defender wins. The British should be able to move maybe a few feet after landing then wait until they have their condition and supplies in order. they need to do some re-balancing

The British Empire was an empire because it ruled the seas and was able to move troops around the world by ship. Pretty sure units of the British army were quite used to being moved around by ship.

Honestly, I don’t get bothered by the frequent landings so much as when I engage these huge landings and they then go camp in some random town and replenish their units at the same rate as I do…. not sure how that makes sense. By the time I am ready to engage them again they are back at full strength. I think the british shouldnt be able to replace lost troops, maybe they can hire native american units and they eventually do get hessians, but you cant expect them to somehow replace a fully trained British Soldier with some farmer and be as efficient again.

I agree and also when they go to war with France they shouldn't have so many ships or men free to come attack me they sent almost 4 thousand to invade me while being attack by France. 4 thousand men isn't a small number of men and you would think they would keep them to fight France but no lets go after the colonies that have a army of maybe 2 to 4 thousand that can easily be crush by all our soldiers in north america no lets send a force out 4 thousand to deal with them from Europe. i lost Newport and had to scrape troops from all over my varies garrisons leaving the bare minimum to keep the British in the north from steam rolling south or at least delay them for a few days. its not fair at all

100%; my hope is that since we are still in EA, when the british campaign gets added it also comes with much needed improved (common sense) mechanics for British AI and other quality of life fixes, itd be nice to see a french fleet occasionally help out, fingers crossed.
