Reporting update?

My armies are literally not moving at all they constantly stuck reporting update even when engaged and they jump from reporting update right into another. I had one army not able to move at all for an hour irl time

For units outside of the vision of a general you will only receive periodic updates on their status. They can receive orders and will do their best to execute them, but for any precise control you will want to bring a general over to get real time updates.
