This game is terrible
Having played the game. This game is very very overpriced. Its insanely buggy and bordering on unplayable at the moment. The deployment phase is non existent. Your artillery will be placed in front of your army, so you lose it. Capturing stuff is about impossible or totally bugged. I've captured plenty guns, ships etc but especially for the ships. They just disappear..

The units do not respond or get stuck non stop. You are very very unit capped. This makes it so you cannot play this very strategically. Bordering on unfair. Unit replenishment is bugged, broken and retarded. Getting all those units into a city is very very finicky. Half the time units will not enter a city but do get the button.

Etc etc etc. DO NOT BUY YET, its very very bad..

I will def. check it out when it's on Steam. I really enjoyed Civil War (on easy settings, because I am not good at RTS games). If it's like Civil War but with a true dynamic campaign, it could become my favorite RTS game. I actually like the battles being on a smaller scale (if that's true), because I don't like to be stressed out by too much micro management.
I hope - for the players and the devs - everything will work out fine. But they should def. adress the issues stated by OP, if they are really in the game.

Something about this game calls out to from another dimension "buy me. buy me."

Okay, game. I'm coming. I won't let anybody talk me out of it. Soon, soon, you will be downloaded.

people to say as early access. game is NOT early access. Option not being available yet. Game is as PRE early access even! grave mistaken to be judging as whole game in PRE early access. contemplate your strategy before venturing further sir
For such a small development team, small budget. The game and the work that goes into it is unbelievable.
Playing on easy. Positioning troops for an attack on Boston. Charged by Cavalry, before the entire Boston garrison decides to engage before I'm ready. Managing to sort myself out battle commenced. At one point I thought I'd managed a victory only to be flanked, charged, volleyed and cannoned into oblivion. At least I didn't get killed this time.
PS, second time, Cavalry charged, garrison emerged but I was more prepared. Garrison withdrew to Boston. Time for a re-think.

@everyone Great News, Generals!
After long negotiations with Steam, we managed to get Steam keys for all versions purchased on our website. So, in June you will receive an email with Steam keys for the Premium edition. Since the number of keys is limited, we have suspended the sale of the basic version on our website and only left the General Edition.

@everyone Since further development will be moved to Steam and all current players will receive keys to upgrade to Steam, we will eventually stop supporting Xsolla at the end of Steam Early Access. All new features and content will be provided first in Xsolla, and only then on Steam. In other words, the British campaign will be available in the Xsolla version initially.

It’s really silly to complain about a game being unfinished when it isn’t even on sale in early access outside of their site (which you can buy in to the beta on, which was always marketed as an alpha or beta build).

You have to go out of your way to spend money on their site to access the testing branch and people are complaining about lack of polish.

There are legitimate early access complaints out there and yes, when you take people’s money you should expect to be criticized, but I haven’t seen specific, valid criticism of an alpha build.

As far as naval action, every developer has failures in their portfolio. The successful ones learn from what they screwed up.

Go complain on the naval action forums if you’re mad about that one.
