Censorship?

Considering that DT2 and 2-2 didn't make it to steam, it is only natural to wonder if this game had to get censored in order to make it.
And yes, I'm aware that this is not the R-18 version, I just want to know if there's differences between this one and the original japanese release.

DT2 and 2-2 were already censored and STEAM banned them anyway. I guess the resident weirdoes did not review this game for authorization.

Only DT2 retained the ATLUS censorship, DT2-2 wasn't censored.

I think there is a decent chance the game is censored from the older Windows releases because they were a bit steamier than anything in DT2 and 2-2. Especially the dialogue.

Is it spicier? I thought I heard it was tamer but now I'm more interested. This game is also in the AO section so I'm guessing it won't be rated by the ESRB or anything. Hopefully it isn't censored.

Steams AO section includes games that PEGI rated 16 or the ESRB rated M. It’s just the opinion of whoever it is at valve and not tied to any other ratings boards decisions.

Good to know, Shiravune did some silly things to Utawarerumono sequels, so I wasn't sure.

Correct, that is the first thing I checked since I genuinely thought it would be censored. I haven't got to that floor yet, but I unpacked the game files and the Nanako sprites are not censored.

If this is the PSP version I'm assuming, would it be easy to replace the CG with the version that had nudity in Final Dragon Chronicle? Not sure if this version does or not. The adult warning on the store page is throwing me off wondering.

No, this is the Vita version, and does not have any nudity. Yes, it would be possible to replace some CGs with the ones from Final Dragon Chronicle, but not all the CGs were edited, some of them are completely new so there's nothing to replace with, and this game has a lot of new CGs and new content in general that straight up didn't exist in Final Dragon Chronicle.
