Silent Hill- God Mode?

So I am new to much of this (Steam, Video games in general that are Horror survival games etc...). Yes that is heresy to the gods of videogaming as I should have been playing video games in the womb or while I've been in graduate school rather than studying but I picked badly and worked instead so now I am here looking for help, lol, ;). Anyway I am curious if there are multiple ways to enable God Mode in Silent Hill: Homecoming? Because I am forced to play this on PC which is very, VERY glitchy I have had a terrible time advancing. For example my controls are very buggy and I can't kill the opponents quick enough (for example I will hit the control to try and kill an opponent like the nurses but it reacts sometimes 3 or 4 seconds late so I am easily killed EVERY DAMN TIME) So I have been trying to enable God Mode. I found one set of instructions when I googled this topic which said the typical procedure to enable God Mode (use the Tilda ~ when in game and then insert line of command altering program) but when I tried this it wouldn't work, nothing occured-the program wouldn't open?! Is there another option or way to open program to alter so I can play the damn game all the way through? PLEASE HELP! This looks like an awesome game and I really want to complete it. Another option is somehow speeding up the way my computer responds? I haven't had this issue with other games so it may just be Silent Hill? Thanks for any help!!!

Have you tried any silent hill's trainers?
If not then go and google it.There are tons of trainers for shh.Some of them are here:

So,it's a russian site and СКАЧАТЬ means download a trainer.If have any troubles with translation go on and ask.

I would not install a trainer from a russian site, i am afraid of virus.
How does the console work on PC version, i read i have to activte it in the ingame options, but there is no console to activate.

I am tired of these dumb bossifght, actual stuck on scarlett, so i need a god mode just for the bossfights.

I don't know if there is a console in the game, but to turn off the IA (and other changes) you have to edit one of the text files in the local folder. Scarlett will stand without moving while you can attack her without danger.
Please note thar this also affects the IA of your allies so if you turn off the AI some events cannot be triggered so you would need to re-activate the AI and reload your save.
