I suggest that you try it instead of reading all the negative reviews. I used to do that and was wondering if it would work well on my 4 years old laptop ...
It works perfectly, without any problem except that after 1 or 2 cinematics, it took about 20-30 seconds to get back in the game. No crash at all, the control are good enough, it never bothered me. Only thing i hated is that in some puzzles, it's hard to select the item with the mouse, don't know why.. But it's nothing game breaking .
The people who bought the game and had bad experiences is not lying you know, so it's def worth listening to.
I played the game years ago, don't remember crashing, but had a game breaking bug where I couldn't progress down through a hole I had to jump down in.
Found out on the internet that it was a bug that happened when you re-entered the room after picking up items or something like that. And that was like 10 hours into the game or something..
This "works for me, must work for everyone else" mentality is obv flawed. ;D
After browsing my library looking for something to play I came back here to see if there have been any patch, but nah ..
They just released a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port and didn't bother to fix it, and still after YEARS they are charging 29,99 .. just lol
To people considiring to buy it, get it on console.
I just said that it works for me ... I know that some people can't play and I respect that... but the OP needs to know that it can work .... The best he could have done is try it and refund if it doesn't work ;)
Valve should? You do know they have NO controll over that at all right? That is not up to Valve. That is up to Konami. Since they are the ones who own the rights to the games.
Yeah, blame ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
