Alchemilla, Underhell, Grey and Nightmare House 2.
Maybe check some gameplay on youtube to see if it is what you are looking for.
While being there, you could also check out Cry of Fear.
A free steam game that runs as standalone on Half Lifes source engine. (No need to have Half Life in your library)
I will post some more if something else comes in my mind.
Have Fun,

Blackbay Asylum
Although this is more of a fun-gore rollercoaster ride adventure game...
with nauseating (because of the extreme head-bob) FPS levels strewn in. But I enjoyed the bits that I have played. Maybe a bit high asking price, but eventually you can find it cheaper at a sale.

Sanitarium
One of my favourite adventures. A myterious story that might keep you at the edge of your seat until the end.

Call of Cthulhu
A great game. Although there are some bugs, which can be overcome by some adjustments though. It is very immersive and the guys who made the

and later on this game:

were avid fans of Call of Cthulhu which vere pretty active on the games´forums.
Maybe also
Murdered: Soul Suspect

althought I liked the concept of the game, it somehow failed to deliver all the way through.
(But eventually you can get a key for this game pretty cheap because it was in a bundle.)
As mentioned before - Just watch some gameplay videos to get an idea if you would like them or not.
Sadly there is nothing quite like the Silent Hill games in my opinion.
You may want to try to get the non-steam versions of Silent Hill 2+3 for PC.
I also suggest the Project Zero (Fatal Frame) series which was released for Playstation 2 / XBOX, and currently for WiiU. It is classic J-Horror at its best.
Fear the dark,
sePL
Well J-horror? Fatal Frame aka Project Zero, Siren aka Forbidden Siren remade as Siren Blood Curse (ps3 exclusive).
Other than that no, there's nothing quite like Silent Hill out there. It truly is a one of a kind experience, even the "lesser" of the games....
And of course DreadOut
resident evil
parasite eve
dino crysis
dead space
original Silent Hill (1)
Silent Hill 2 directors cut PC PS2
Silent Hill 3 PC PS2
SIlent Hill 4 PC PS2
Silent Hill Origins PSP PS2
