Black screen with 21:9 aspect ratio on Win10
Other resolutions work fine but when I choose my monitors native ultrawide resolution, the screen is black (audio still works). Have other successfully run this game at 2560x1080 and 3440x1440?

Hello,,I have the same problom,, I start first time Silent Hill, then IO go to " settings,,after set aspect to 21:9 (2560x1080) the screen is black. I think,, this game doesn´t support this resolution

No, it doesn't support that resolution. It doesn't even work properly in 4k since the higher the resolution, the less you see the map in-game. It's some sort of low res window that shows the map, and if you play above 720p you can't see the full map. At 4k you pretty much see less than a quarter of it.

It’s been a while since I played this game but if I recall correctly, I was able to play in 3440x1440 using a third party widescreen hack (might have been Flawless Widescreen). But yeah, the mini map was all jacked up.

Yeah, visually it worked just fine at 4k, it actually looked pretty good, but the map just makes it so frustrating to play since you use it almost all the time.

Same here, was playing real cool but i got ambitious and wanted more resolution, is there a way to fix that? Like is there a way to reset the game so it begins with its original resolution?

Yeah, delete/change the resolution in vars_pc.cfg. It's located in the engine-folder in your install-folder.
