And besides, Konami doesn't care about us gamers or the SH fanbase. They've proven that for years
Just look at what happened with the atrocious mess that was the HD remaster, and the death threats that the devs recieved from the rabid fanbase due to this. Just sayin..

I do not think they are going to make anymore good games, unless Pachinko machines are what you seek, but even then I don't know if the Pachinkos they make are any good.
Name a single other remake besides RE that was just as good (or better) as the original? Be it game or movie. I dare you. Pretty please?
Also unlike the original RE, SH1 still holds up remarkably well to this day. It STILL manages to scare the living cr*p out of today's kids! And that's saying something ;)
REmake alone as you call it pretty much proves that a remake can be better than the original, especially in the case of the original Silent Hill, a great game by itself but with terrible controls and graphic, from a technical point of view Silent hill was made way worse than the original RE in spite of its younger age, so any attempt to remake it would just be better if made by a respectable team. Capcom cares? sorry mate but I beg to differ, he surely cared more in the past but generally they never cared ♥♥♥♥ about fans, otherwise we wouldn'have had games like RE4,5,6 and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of trash spinoffs instead of solid sequels, I may agree with you if you say that Konami nowdays has pretty much gone downhill and the possibility to see a remake is definitely farfetched, but don't tell me that a classic cannot be remade cause that's just BS.
Also; Capcom is a company, not a dev. The dev and his team in question are the same people who created The Evil Within. I'd say they care about survival horror..
