Sure!
You should be able to find a folder titled "Silent Hill Homecoming" at this path: C:\Users\Public\Documents\
Inside this folder there's a *.bin file titled "shv_save", this is the file that contains all of your savegames. So what you can try doing is making a backup copy of it, removing it from the savegame folder, then start the game and see if you're able to save anything at all. If that works, then try copying your old file back into the savegame folder, overwriting the new file that should be there now.
