Scarlet immortality glitch help?
First of all I love this game, but jeez,it's also frustrating as hell to play. It lags but the worst bit is the tapping sequence (I don't have a mouse) whether it's light tapping, ultra-mashing, moderate taps, imitating the keyboard... I mean just wow lol. For the past week, several times I was in Scarlet's first phase for 45 minutes before giving up (at least I can dodge her attacks perfectly). I am aware that there is a similar sequence following this part with mouse tapping. I also know that the same is true for the drilling sequence. Such a shame... is there anything I can do to get past this? Scarlet just won't die. I even keep hitting hoping that alone may settle things but nope, prying that bloody thing off her back is next to impossible.

Would appreciate some help. Also if I delete this game from my computer do I delete saved data? (Not that there's much data worth saving at this point...)

In the first phase, Scarlet stands up. This phase is relatively easy, just do 2 quick attack with the knife then roll/dodge away. After taking multiple hits, she will fall on her knees. This is when you have to run in front of her and press Action to trigger the crowbar prying sequence where you mash the buttons.

In the second phase, Scarlet will stand on all fours arms and legs. She will be much quicker and harder to dodge, but it's actually easier than the first phase. Keep your distance and just wait around for her to jump on the ceiling and dodge the moment she jumps down on you (there should be a button prompt on screen). If you do it right, it will give you a 5 second opening to run up to her and press Action to trigger another crowbar prying sequence.

I never had problems tapping buttons, however I had a mouse/controller when I played this game...

It's a well known glitch.. Last time, I spent around 40-50 minutes and ended the fight by brute force. First time, it took me 5 minutes..

You can end the fight by brute force? Without prying in both 1st and 2nd phase?

LOL I should have specified. I basically forced my way through the game and "puzzles" by brute force. On pc. Probably not the devs' intention..
This game should be played on ps3, this is probably the worst pc port in history..
