Severe lag?

Just started playing the demo for this, but the game has severe lag when just moving around the map, particularly in fullscreen mode.
In windowed mode it runs better, but there is noticeable screen tearing on the pixel art.

Has anyone else had these issues? Is it better in the full game?

For some people, this game doesn't automatically use their graphics card if you have one. To fix this in Windows, go to windows search bar, type 'graphics settings', then under 'Graphics performance preference', click 'Browse', then locate the .exe file for the game, located in the steam folder. Program Files (86x) --> steam --> steamapps --> common --> Pocket Mirror --> .exe file (Game), The game will hopefully run fine after this.
