no reeds

i just updated and there are no reeds. how do i get thatch now?

Just to expand on this, it is winter, I walked way past my woodcutters markers and there was no reeds at all,

Just to expand on this as well. It is autumn. I have barely un covered any of the shoreline on my map (I went straight inland for mines). There are no reeds at all anymore after this update. I have it set to extended days / seasons. By the time this stuff respawns It will be a good 7 days IRL I think. My map is now 100% unplayable and I need to start over.

Reeds don't spawn in the winter anymore, I notice this too, but I'm sure it's intentional.

Wait until spring they will come back.

I have been in summer-autumn-winter and I have not seen a single reed spawn. Going way past my markers as well. Hopefully this crap doesn't take as long as the animal respawn issue because zero thatch literally breaks this game as it's needed for every advanced building/any bedding and can't be grown.

I also can't find any reeds. It is winter and I have an extended season for this save so may be a while before I can tell if they grow back after. Is this working as intended? If so, this must be the first winter where I've needed a handful more thatch to finish a build.

hey folks, the fix for the reeds respawning can take a little longer based on if you're playing an older save, keep playing and they should regrow.

Are people still having problems with this? I started a new game and there were reeds when I spawned, but 10 days in and I can not find reeds anywhere. I have collected zero thatch.

2 weeks past your reply, and my reeds still aren't regrowing.

if they're not regrowing for you please do fill out a bug report and i'll fire it up to the team! Sorry to hear!

Just happened to me, along with nodes not despawning after you harvest. Incredibly frustrating dealing with game breaking bugs.
