[others] i think this are some bugs
The AI should be revised:
- At the end of the day they leave the boats in the middle of the sea and want me to
give them a boat the next day but this affects many of the NPCs' activities
- The blacksmith from the pit wastes my iron in a similar way because he doesn't
finish his work when he's off work
- The same applies to the blast furnace where the metals are smelted
- regardless of the level, the worker in the blast furnace only uses 2 metals which is
also not very intelligent especially since you could manually melt up to 5 metals in
one go
- The blacksmith also does not use the storehouse to take broken tools and instead
prefers to make new items
- The lumberjacks chop down entire forests very carelessly and leave everything
lying around
- if you want to breed a dog, as a puppy it devours meat almost every second, which
is also very wasteful. when it is fully grown, it no longer does this.
- the food bowl should not be made accessible to other NPCs, as they will take the
puppy's food from the bowl.
- there should also be something like a food bowl for the dogs, as you can't interact
with it and feed it that way and the NPCs want to pick up the food when i throw it
out
- when acquiring resources in the collector's hut, something for the balance should
also be built in because the NPCs overfill my warehouses with a resource, for
example feathers
- when hunters get bleeding from wolves they run away immediately
- warriors sometimes fight until they are dead without paying attention to their
health

Terrain:
- when i have leveled terrain resources like bushes and veggies spawn in the air
- it would be nice if maybe in the future you could also remove decorative stones or
something to optimize your building area
- bushes and veggies grow back regularly but it looks like trees don't

Repairing buildings:
- repairing buildings also costs some resources and at the moment i'm still wondering
what to do when there are no more trees, stones, or metal?

Level up the character skills:
- in the blast furnace it seems to me that if i have melted metals in the blast furnace
and want to work them on the anvil i always get 2 levels for it with the first hammer
blow

crafting:
- something i also miss would be a way to make compost. so far i only get compost
through my cooking skills or when npcs or i have rotten food
- if you send hot objects (nails as an example) from the anvil to quench and the
water trough is occupied, they drop over the trough and you can't do anything with
them until they have cooled down.

what i forgot is that the loggers ignore the roots of the trees and prefer to cut down a fresh tree to get firewood to cut up the trunks from there

I would love a dedicated firewood job where they cut the stumps and keep fires going.

A firekeeper NPC would be ideal to focus on the removal of stumps and gathering on firewood. These npcs would also maintain all of the fires to make sure they don't go out. They would not start new fires but would load up a fire spot to full and ready to ignite.

I've noticed a ton of villagers end up carrying items that are not needed by them, but they don't seem to ever get rid of them either. Ill find 3-5 iron planing knives being held by someone like a cook, for example.

I agree the issues with the blacksmith/metalworkers. Haven't had villagers on boats myself yet. They just stay on shore to fish. Good suggestions!

about the fishermen, just look at my screenshot of what happens when they don't finish their work. i have drawn the circle on the screenshot where they normally fish and on the mimimap where the boat is now. they always want to have a rented boat when it is on the beach and they could use it, but they don't because it is not attached to the fishing jetty

as for the tools, i know what you mean. it sometimes seems like they're getting tools, but that they're also working with them. luckily, the warehouse workers collect everything, because when the iron tools broke, they picked them up and stored them. the npcs themselves just dropped their broken tools on the floor where i live

there is already a guard for the fire if you assign a worker to the campfire. he would only have to be given the additional task of felling the stumps.

there is the cod fish that brings 3 fish meat that's why i built the boats

but what i find funny is that the hunters also fight skeletons or something and loot them, because i also find a lot of metal scraps in my warehouse near the hunting lodge and in my warehouse :D
