Wulfar hunting

Do hunters hunt Wulfars? I'm trying to get the hunters to collect pelts but not having any luck. Hunters are equiped with iron knives and longbows. Meat and other materials are not a problem just no pelt unless I do it myself.

Upgrading the hunter's building allows for storage and tasks to gather the pelts

edit- pelts are rarer than the leather hide as well

I already have 2 hunters huts and both are fully upgraded to the point of having the pelt storage and gather options. All the hunters have iron knives, wolfar dens are flagged but I only see hunters go to those dens when I go out and kill the wolfars myself.

Hunters don't kill wolfs, just make a marker for patrol to the den and they kill the wolf, after that the hunters salvages the materials, that's what I do

I go every 3-4 day when they have re-spawn to kill all 3 of them for pelt and meat for my 3 wolf dogs. I have take down Fenrir boss on two old maps, don't care to take him down on map I use now.. better for pelt and meat.

Thanks, this is the information I wanted. I was hunting the Wolves five but the hunters weren't and now I know why.
