A new bug with the anvil, if the metal has cooled down, there is no way to remove it.

You should be able to send it to quenching usually, though there is 2 spots to target on the anvil, one for crafting selection and one for direct interaction with the item on the anvil. Have you tried the 2nd target and seen if you can interact with that?

I tried it, it doesn't work.

Same here... One thing you can do is to remove building.... Done many times and lose 1st invasion because of this bug. Also lose a lot progression in village when I run outside. Mostly it's happend when you have a lot items in storage (magiznes), and a lot are on the ground. After that npc starts to be "stupid" they produce the same things. I set for example axe making for 2, but I ended with 30+ axes and they do not porduce other things but 1st on list. Mostly happends when you have a lot in magazines, in stack (mid/end game). Also I can see after I recruit 40+ villagers they start to do stupid things or stop working correctly.

Yeah in the newest hotfix that came they changed it so it you can´t send an item to quenching unless it is finished. But if it stays on the anvil and cools down there is no option to reheat the item. For me the item on the anvil dissapeared by itself in around 10 minutes

Unfortunately, my production stopped completely for several days... I realized it when I checked the stock of metal tools, which were empty... And unfortunately, to my surprise, I couldn't remove the cooled item from the forge anvil. The only solution was to destroy the entire forge and rebuild it (in my case, it ended up with destroying 2 forges in the workshop T.T)

Hey there, sorry to hear you are having issues! Please do fill out a bug report in the subforums using our template so we can investigate this properly for you.

Sorry ThunderfulPaige, but we're paying customers not QA engineers. Please provide a streamlined bug reporting process that doesn't require a lot of customer time/effort to complete and you'll get a better response.

The bug reporting process is literally asking you to give information about what happened, what was supposed to happen, how long it happened for, what you was doing, what computer you're running on, and any file relevant posted.

Files are DxDiag and Msinfo32 which you get from windows, literally about your machine. And the save game file, and any video or image captures you may have taken.

Literally all the stuff you would include in any bug reporting process to any company.

You want it streamlined? Like I've seen someone do; "got a bug, axe broke" Streamlined sure, but doesn't say anything. There is a multitude of reasons for something to happen, for bugs to crop up, for anything to be fixed they require as much information as possible, not because they're being awkward, but because they are then going to try and recreate the bug to find the route problem, be it coding or stupidity of the player.

Either way, you personally don't have to participate. No-one is forcing you. It is completely voluntary, but anything you do report makes the game that much better.

So post, don't post, but Paige is just doing her job, and informing people that if they think it is a bug they can post it on "Bug Reporting" using the template as a guideline of what stuff helps.

A wall of text with a massive bunch of responses isn't as helpful as a template bug report that others can say, "Happened to me too" and Dev's know it's serious. rather than a discussion that goes off topic about how rude someone was to the community Dev.

The only thing I'd like changed about the bug report is where to post the files, because I hate 3rd party software that I'd have to register with just to post a couple of files. I like to keep my e-mail spam to a minimum.

Keep up the good work Paige.
