Unable to connect to a friend's world

Before the update, we played with friends, everything was fine.However, after the update, we cannot connect to our friend's world.What to do

We checked the files, reinstalled the game, but we can't log in to a friend's server.

Hi, sorry to hear that. Please make sure you are updated to the latest build version. Sometimes a log out - log in into steam will force the platform to update the game.

the update was installed last, restarting steam didn't help either

I am having this same issue. Only started after the update. i have tried uninstalling and installing the game again, No luck. Tried clicking join game from my friend list in steam. It gets to the title screen in the game but wont display a menu or anything except the back ground. Left it alone for 30 min with no change.

Find your friend through the multiplayer game menu, the only way we managed to log in to the server.

One poster on Discord said his group was unable to connect till they changed their region settings to match after the update. Might be worth a try, if your regions are different.

Thanks guys, switching my server region in game to the same as my mates fixed the issue. I could join his game from the ingame menu. You are both Legends!
