No trees do not grow back.
However there are plans for making trees regrow at some point.
Some people have said that trees do grow back, if they do then that is currently a bug
Trees do NOT grow back.

Thatch also takes roughly 4 HUMAN hours to come back (if your lucky) and stone is also finite.

Not happy at all about this. The custom game mode does NOT have the ability for resources to come back. How hard is it to do what 7 Days to Die does and let you edit your loot respawn timers but make it Trees and stone and thatch

Stone at least can be acquired from Draugar. Trees are only non-renewable resource - however, I still haven't seen screenshots/video of someone that has cleared an island of trees.

You can have a very long game and plenty of trees left. I'm working on my second game at 500 days now. My first was 670 about. 640 is 20 years in-game (normal day/year settings) both have plenty of woodlands to go through. (see my videos/screenshots for evidence)

Devs are working on renewable wood - regrowth or, my preferred idea, is to have an enemy like the draugar that drops stone one that drops wood an Ent type maybe idk

ohhh, righty! I stopped paying yesterday because I was worries me and my 3 friends would run out of material, yknow... because there are 4 of us. Maybe 4 players is rougher?

I will defos go through your scrrenshots and pics to have a little gander. I am just worried about my group I play with.

Good to know the devs are working on this!

P.S cant see your vids or screenshots, your account is private my dude!

Yeah, I only play solo, guess if you have multi you could deforest quicker.

Yeah I can see them now my dude! Thank you!

Also - Put it this way - with 4 of us playing, and our villagers (all our tools combined), buildings e.t.c we are on day... I think 17, and we cannot find ANY Tier 1 trees... don't get me wrong, we are doing ok on FUR trees but we are running out FAST and slowly being forced to explore and upgrade to birch trees (tier 3). Not a fan of being FORCED to progress when we gotta learn how to manage our village and learn mechanics, yknow.

I would like them to add in some sort of "Mine" as a place-able object on a wall that lets you go in and mine, kinda like a slave would. You could also bring in your villagers that can mine and they would work in there.

Or some sort of "journey" building where you send you villagers on quests and they would return with materials for your village. Kinda like "viking raids", eh, just spitting some nonsense I guess haha.

I agree the flow is somewhat not intuitive and could use some serious work on Logic and UX.

Remember that 7D2D was in Early Access for 10+ years.
It takes time and that is why Aska is in early access.

and remember, after 7D2D's release, they changed what the game was and should be. Look at the skills and how you get them now. The books e.t.c. Its not the game we all bought in EA. Not what we wanted.

But I get you man. In time, the game will flourish but right now, I cannot recommend it and probably will not play it till some major changes are added.
My lumberjacks chop down trees and leave sticks, logs, long sticks, and bark lying on the ground in large quantities. Is this normal behavior?
P,S. is it possible to force them to cut down tree stumps?

As far as I can tell this is normal, so I always set building resources markers next to wood and stone markers, then eventually have my warehouse workers prioritize wood and stone gathering, usually as part of a warehouse exclusively dedicated to those items

From what I saw, that seems normal. I had to make other workers collect that

Warehouse staff?
Also, oddly enough, I did not find an option to tell the soldiers to go somewhere with me. The only option found is to patrol point and go with them.

For the items on the floor, yeah. I made dedicated "collectors" in the warehouse (after building said storage).

Personally, I have not progressed far enough to have soldiers. Me and my friends kinda are the soldiers so we have all of our villagers collecting materials, building, farming e.t.c, so sadly I cannot help or have nothing valuable to mention about that. Sorry my dude!

Having others be able to go fight with you in a squad is on the roadmap for the future, at present all you can do is use an upgraded Odin's eye to set a camp response to an invasion (if you are lucky enough to get a smolkr horn....), but they won't go very far away from the camp
