About Food Production... Stews are evil
So for anyone struggling with food production while you're cooking Stews to save on water... When you get a larger population, just stop with the Stews.

Build some extra Rain Catchers and stick with Soups. The Stews have apparently the same length of cooking time as the Soups. But you get 2 stews versus 4 soups when you cook stew and soup. Note the 4x on soups versus the 2x on stews. So you double your food production by cooking Soups. I find it really annoying and kind of backwards. Nearly starved my village of 55 villagers before I noticed how much slower food production was with Stews.

Arn't they eat more of the soap vs. stew to got full?
Soup still hunger with 25% and Stew 50%, I stick with stew and have a day and a night cook.
At 55 villagers, I have 3 cooking stations. 2 are day and night which is a little buggy, one is just during the day. When cooking Soups, the Cooked food storages fill up and stay full. When I cook stews, the food storages empty out super quick. Just saying, try switching to Soups instead if you're mostly doing stew's and you'll find that you have way more food.

Often times mass production trumps quality.

I always build about 5 rain collectors around my cook house with a storehouse that stores water raw food, and cooked food. I also build wells every chance I get, I try building around the water stone instead of destroying them.

I don't have a problem with water, but my BBQ workers like to throw food on the floor doesn't pick it up and it spoils. I'm picking up 50-60 spoiled food some days it's ridiculous, I think the BBQ needs a raw food storage.

I'm at 146 villagers so far no problems other then them wasting food, but I have plenty of it so not hurting me to much.

i think you just need a warehouse that store water so that they could collect water at idle well

Yeah i have my cooks doing only one or two recipes. One cook house does meat soup and another recipe like beet root soup and the other does fish soups with another one like vegetable soup. The pies are nice but they use up all the eggs. Stews i only make for me.

So warehouse with ready cooked food will store BBQ meat but not fish, a worker in food ware house will pick up the BBQ meat from the rack.
