Hello, is there any form of magic in this game? I'd like to be like a viking witch, galdr ♥

No spells per se, in terms of player-originated magic.
Creatures are fantastical and have magical origins. Manner of summoning villagers is magical. Player resurrection mechanic is magical. There are spell-type buffs which come in mid-game in which the use of altars grants buffs. It's also possible to take raven form by use of jotun-blood at an altar.
Some of the boss mobs have magic-based attacks.
