Pet Question

Hello guys, so I have my dogs and I able to assign it to my cooking area but the question is..
when they go hungry , how do we feed them? it auto walk to their kennel and eat ? I don't see the manual for feeding option either. Can we assign npc to feed them ? ( in guarding )

Also another question about the cave.
I found cave but so close where the dogs spawn, can I clear this dog spawn so it stop spawning ?

Food = Is there any ingredients npc can cook beside of those purple thing ( basic and seem only food she can cook )

1. There is such a feeding trough at the kennel, you put meat in it or you throw meat on the floor, they eat it. Oh and yes you can tell a NPC to feed the dogs

2. At the wolf caves there are always 2. "haystacks" that you can destroy, then the wolf boss spawns, when you kill him the cave is empty for a certain time.

Eli got most your questions already, but if I understand the food question correctly you are asking how to make other recipes? You have to discover the recipes yourself by mixing ingredients in the pot. So far a lot of the recipes I have found are 3 of one specific food + a filler (so as an example, 3 mussels and literally anything else edible in the last slot besides meat. I usually use a berry because i tend to have so many). Once you figure out a recipe, your assigned cook can also make more of it and you can set the limits for each meal type specifically.

I know I can feed and assign dog in the trough and assign but my question is if I assign my dog to example my cooking house. Does he go to Kennel and eat the food there in Trough ? or we have to do the throwing food in front of him when the dog assign to building XD
