Here are the issues and why it only really the "godmode" cheats that work and is this not recommended to use.
-- Written on pre-AUG update cheat information, One I checked has a note now saying they are working on the current update --
Unlimited HP , Hunger, Thirst and Stamina = works as intended but just for the player
Add item on use = It does allow to "clone" an item. Due to it not limiting stacks you will get stacks NO ONE can pickup and stacks with 0 items in.
Unlimited Durability / Freshness = Some just hide the damage and they the wool just breaks at "full durability" and if it works you will get no compost and have zero decay on stuff left out to rot away (despawn)
Ignore Crafting Materials = Only stuff the player can craft without a crafting table (starter tools + rope)
Any form of time manipilation (Freeze , +1 hour, -1 hour) = Wells\water do not refill, crops do not grow, Mobs respawns can be skipped over. Villagers will be be stuck or miss time triggers and DIE or leave due to being unhappy.
Game speed \ player move speed = Mobs move faster too + Same issues as time manipilation.
----
And last off all is the enjoyment you miss out on from playing the game as intended,
Hopefully the game update will allow us to change a few stuff for "training wheels" to "Ironman" difficulties.
speaking of mod's will there be support for actual mods in the future and or changing the models of the vikings? i would find it fun to make a how to train your dragon event where you can start spawning the residents from birk in your play though.
Please, for all us grown adult gamers, add a game speed option because it is so painfully slow it's nigh upon unplayable. Some of us have kids to attend to and other life responsibilities so we don't have the luxury of taking 5 minutes to move a short distance. I've used mods just to speed up the game and make it move at a reasonable pace.
Because I got tired of my farmers using 6 rakes each, every day (when I used wooden tools)
Someone says that iron tools don't disappear, but that's not true, I've lost many axe and pickaxe heads that broke because they weren't in my bag, they were gone
And that everything decays way too fast compared to what it should.
And stamina disappears WAY too fast
And that I have to eat and drink every 5 minutes, if this were real, I would weigh 800 kilos because of all the things my character eats
And because the amount of rope that needs to be used is totally crazy
I will say there should be NO cheats or codes in the game. If you can't play, you couldn't recognize the game, then this game is not for you.
Skill issue. Grammar and reading comprehension issue.
100%. Even on the hardest difficulty, if one is keenly familiar with the game mechanics, they can succeed. OP seems to have skill issues.
Some people have developmental issues, others like posted previously, have kids, and just want to have fun. Don't yuck others yums. I personally sometimes cheat in games, just because I want to enjoy the building/management, but don't want to deal with raids/enemies etc. I also sometimes play hardcore modes, to see if I am up to the challenge. People pay for the games, they should be able to decide how they want to play it(single player only games that is.). I do agree that this game is not that hard once you know the mechanics, but I do understand why people would want to have cheats.
you can also set up a mode without enemies and raids just find a game mode for yourself which on the right side when you start a new game you can set up the game for yourself
(Because it is also aesthetically unpleasant to see broken buildings and constantly needing to hammer everything, especially terrible with big builds.)
