Advice on feeding villagers...
Villagers seems to be eating me out of house and home. I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I have a hunters hut brimming with meat, my collections hut is overflowing, I have a warehouse that has overstock of raw food, and 2 cook houses turning out stews but my food racks are always empty. When I check some villagers they have like 5 to 6 stews on them and their hunger is completely full. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't keep up with it. I have 14 villagers currently. My day length is not set to max.

Thanks

Balancing out a lot of things seems quite tedious at times.

I stopped having issues after I had done the following.

1. Day cook and a night cook.
2. Dedicated warehouse close by with 2 x cooked food storage, 4 x water storage and also a day/night schedule for 2 workers. They handled food/water only.
3. I manually cooked up excess and got a jump on the warehouse stock.

I was up to 40 villagers and only had 2 cooks and 1 cooking house and my warehouse stock was growing.

Hmm ok, I do have day and night shift on both cook house and warehouse. I will give manually cooking a shot.

Thanks!

Also, try to make soup instead of stew. It's more profitable in terms of space/efficiency/time

For me here is what always do and works perfect, i found always 2 water wells together and then i make the cooking station very close to them, put 2 shift chef and make a warehouse near with cooking food rack in it, and the villager in that warehouse always take the food and save it inside the wh and you never run out of food, hope it helps
