I stopped playing and honestly thinking of refunding. Not worth playing when getting chest pain from the heart beat sound after it beating for 5 minutes straight...
I love the game otherwise and want to play, but my health means more to me.
There is an option to turn this off, though not a setting, but in game stuff.
First if you are out of you base, find onions and garlic, eat them, your health regenerates and the sound goes away.
If you are at your base, build a healers hut and put a villager to work there, then go and click on the bed in the healer hut and they will heal you fully.
Base again, go inside a cottage or Jarl's house and you will slowly heal, sleep a little while there and you heal a little faster.
Base again, and finally cooks stations can produce garlic soup and onion soup, but first you have to find 4 garlic and 4 onions and then use 4 garlic and 4 water, and then 4 onions and 4 water to discover those recipes. After that you can put a task on for them to make it.
Gatherers will find some garlic and onions, but your best option is to build farms to produce them, since they grow 3 seasons out of 4 you can have a never ending supply of healing soups.
That heartbeat needs to go.
