Trash can or easier way to permanently del items

So I have an abundance of items like seeds and bones, I know they degrade over time, but I end up with piles of them, even after telling my villager not to bring that stuff back.

It would be nice if there was a way to remove these items without having to swing the hoe around, like a compost bin or something.

Put stuff on the ground and hit them with a hoe. They are then gone.

Composting or selling seeds would be awesome! They want rotten food. Are you kidding me? I barely have enough food.

In a warehouse make a storage for what you want cleaned up and set it to High and everything else in that container to Low. The guy will sweep just that up into that bin, and when it's full you simply dismantle it and it deletes the stored items.
