Need Help! I am clueless out here! Just bought the game.

Hello everyone! I need help, I have accidentally summoned Haugr The Relentless, I thought the rib cages are holding Jotun Blood and destroyed both of them but voila, a wild enemy with tons of HP and faster than Usain Bolt appeared and chased me to death. After rebirth, I haven't built the Odin's Eye because I am scouting the world for a good place and in generally just exploring, graphics is amazing btw, I went to the place where I died, but the HTR is still there and chased me, so I took refuge in Sea LOL. Do we get to recover items from our deadbody like Valheim? Or everything is gone? Any idea how to deal with this or just totally avoid the area for now till I get strong? Please tell me.

Amazing physics in the game, killed Haugr The Relentless while using his rush and hit against him, he kept bashing his head on rocks while trying to damage me and I just played Matador and Bull with him. Awesome game man. Killing such a strong enemy, like a mini-boss with just wit and game physics so early feels just extraordinary. I also hit him with arrows when he got stunned.

Thank you buddy. Is it the item called 'Water Artifact'? BTW if I die, all items with me gone? I can't find my deadbody with 'Z'. Could you please tell me a bit about death mechanics?

its hard to finde the spot where you die...i just give up on that! When i die i respawn as a ghost...and then i press escape and go reborne...dont walk away from the eye where you spawn as a ghost...stay there and go reborn...when u reborn just collect your stuff

...from ghost form you can sacrifice villager to reborn and your items will be on you...i dont like this metod cause i loose a villager on that...i prefer from Ghost form to go ESC+Reborn from the menu

You have two choices, reborn which will mean you will lose some of your stats/progress and drop all items where you died. or choose to come back as a ghost from there you can select a worker and use his/her soul to revive yourself fully intact.

...go ghost first then press escape and reborn...you stuff will be near the Eye! You will loose =nothing

yes the WWater rune...build a runestone and use it to see what buffs he gives and then when you need it just activate it

I found my items on the ground this time but there was no marker or dead body where I died, is it the normal thing in Aska?

That rock is not a cave. You will see the cavestone when pressing Z and one is close enough to be lit up. They tend to be a lot smoother than the one in the picture, and is more often on a hillside with a small flat, plantfree, area in front of it.

I see. Thank you for the info, btw could you tell if I can take on wolves at this moment? I have a spiky mace and a shield, both basic, I haven't started building camp, just exploring.

Yes, that's been my experience too - same if villagers get killed - the items are just littered on the ground. I found some of them ages later, after I'd given up on them!
