Make villagers skin fish?

Anyone found a way to automate this yet? The fishermen just load them all up in the fish rack, but I can't find a way to get them to skin the fish. My dogs eat a ton of meat so I was going to supplement fish meat, but I really don't want to constantly have to skin fish every day. I swear these dogs are more trouble than they are worth.

Either way, hunters skin their kills, so why don't fishermen skin their catch?

Villagers assigned to the cooking station who are tasked to make fish soup / stew will go into my warehouse nearby and butcher the fish.

I think the villager assigned to the BBQ will do so as well, but haven't directly observed that. He does seem to be producing grilled fish though.

Meaning there is no way to stockpile fish meat other than manually skinning them yourself.

im not sure if its a bug but my BBQ and my cooking house staff wont skin them nor will hunters and fishers. i have to do it all myself pretty damn annoying lol

Is your workshop making knives ? You should check if your villagers assigned to BBQ or cooking hut have knives.

I haven't invested in fishing because I wanted more hunters who will have more archery skills and eventually be more useful when I rotate them to become my archers in Invasion. You could try dropping fishes in front of cooking/bbq/hunter stations to check if they skin it or not.
