eye of odin

First i am loving the game.
The game should be called "protect the eye of odin" because everything is looking to destroy it. I have place mine way away from my village and never had an attack even the bear attacks it never entering the village. Yes it will get destroyed or i just go to it when attacks are coming but never in my village.

so,you can divert attacks and invasion to a specific location with eye of odin? if you place it somewhere else?

yes thats what they are after.
I do not know if this holds true for the invasions.

It does seem like most enemy events focus on the eye. I have a couple of satellite resource hubs, and so far I haven't had any thing attack them directly yet. All the hostile spawners seem to come in a circle around the eye.

Not if a stone lantern is there first, thats like mob candy they love those things.

Wall>Gate>Lantern>OdinEye is what i feel the priority.

I actually would like it if this was the case, if the enemies went right for the eye of odin eye. Maybe i have to feed it a villager to rebuild.

It might be in your playthought but definitely not in mine. The attack everything but the Eye in mine. They sure love my warehouse's. About 80% of the time they make a b-line right for them. The other 20% just random. But odd never the eye.
