How to destroy/remove natural water collector?

How to destroy/remove natural water collector? I need the space for building.

Cant destroy it I think, its used for wells. Build them on top.

Hoe works but collector needs to be empty first. Otherwise you get a hover collector. Same with berry bush.

If its not a well only a collector empty it and smash the stone with a weapon. Did this accidently in the first days while fighting a skelly.

i was wondering how you get rid of these, as some places there are many of them scattered around (too many) and they block building up.
I havent tried a hoe yet, i did try drinking and using axe/pick/weapon but it didnt do didly squat, even tried the hammer. Never thought to try the hoe.
