Is there any definable difference between the two characters?

Just curious as at first I assumed the sister may be good due to the higher intelligence variable but now I'm wondering if the guy may be better or if at this point in the EA version of the game it's all negligible.

i think the male does more damage in combat, and the female has higher stamina. Based on what i've noticed from playing both

Ragnar is more new player friendly, has more health runs faster, has better survival in the winter, and swings faster in melee. Aska is faster with bows and can highlight things from farther away. I've had less playtime with Aska so I don't know all her nuances, but everything has a skill and the more you do a thing the better you are at it. Kind of like Valheim.

Play who you want, they average out later on anyways.
