I'd give you tips but it sounds like you just want to yell and scream and throw a tantrum like a spoiled child and not be constructive at all, so...
Weird, for me food was always enouogh but fibers never. Are we playing two different games?
90% of my time I spent running around searching for fibers even though I had a flax farm (1/3 flax 2/3 food)
the vilager eats much.. yes.... but you can:
- with 3 vilagers make enouth food, 2 fisher (1 on day, 1 for night), give them enouth stuff for fihing and 1 for cooking on the grill, best in near of the fishers.
- gatherer in the wood with some banners around, he find a lot, is not save but give you in the beginning enouth with good workingrange + a cooker für musrooms (must be cooked for eating)
- Hunter, need bow and a lot of arrows and animals in his workarea + a cooker.
- Farm and seed berrys an something (good for fiberproduktion)
Aska is not easy and you must learn something and more with testing, but with a good strategie and learning it works from map to map better and better.
This is a Early access-game, isn ot perfect and have need a lot of working to make it better, step by step, the developer must look for problems, balancing, bugs and looks for wishes from the player to make aska in a good game for mostly everyone.
This need time, and smal changes (looks fiberupdate) is a small stepp to make the game a litle better.
if you do not have anything other to say then "get gud" then get the f... out of everywhere and learn some common sense.
he got valid points and while screming, this "ged gud" message makes it worse and helps absolutely zero and contributes absolutely zero.
Nice White Knight attempt, mate, but you fail in comprehension. This IS a tough game and EightBall didn't just say "get gud", but instead offered valid feedback for OP's style and substance. It's a valid criticism, and instead of supporting him in a manner that might get OP to take a look at it, you validate the victim mentality, thus handicapping OP even more in the future.
:/
yes it is, especialy when the day is over in 24min.
it has some, I would say a lot, issues. surely some of them due to EA, but some due to design. I think its balanced more around the co-op partt. right now the game is not realy suited for soloplay.
- firewood burns way too fast (especialy considering how few you get out of a full grown tree, a fire burns through 100% in a day, it should burn much slower then resin)
- time progresses way too fast (1 ingame second is 1 real minute)
- thatch have to regrow, currently we have to run to the other side of the map to get some thatch, even with carts we have to do few trips, and one trip is like one day, where nothing else can be done, since the npcs are (hopefuly currently) way too stupid to do their tasks
- char gets sick way too often, sometimes even at 90% warmth level, way too often I leave the village to do somtehing, onlyto stop right behind the gate because sick again, and it happens every other day
- igniting/extinguishing fire takes way too long, especialy considering how few time there is per day... and its worse in winter
- the NPCs, all (even dogs after the last hotfix) eat way too much
- the NPCs are, currently, way too stupid... the reasons why they die are incredible... like 4 of my villagers died because frozen... no idea how, in their house a fire is burning. or one forgot to eat... died of hunger, and one of thirst... I wish we could assign workers to specific markers as we can guards to patrol markers, gathering markers are being ignored once the area is emptied but stuff regrows, but gatherers do not return, unless the marker is destroyed and build new (stupid), builders grab stuff from carts, that I just placed there, and run across the map even though the storages are full. storage workers are too stupid to pick up the stuff of the workers and get it to the storage
and there is much much more :)
but hey, its EarlyAccess and its worked on and not abandoned
Fiber was a sticking point for me until I accidentally paid attention and learned that you can break down bark and thatch into fibers...
if you say so, but when you do not understand that saying "get gud" is the most stupid and wrong statement in ANY situation, no matter what, then noone can help you. I said it already, a phrase like this contributes absolutely nothing to any discussion, is very pointless and makes stuff actualy even worse. if you do not have something else to say, say nothing, if you have something to say, then just leave such a comment to someone else. you may disagree, you may be a better player, but that does not make you right, and yes him neither. btw the game is not tough, its just EA and unpolished. Lets hope they add difficulty setting to appease some players and do not make it too easy overall.
