Put a cooked food storage next to the water bin in the warehouse and have the warehouse closer to housing than the cookery. Fixes the issue.
The problem with fish can be solved by building a market, a cart and a warehouse (with a container/containers for fish in it) next to the fisherman's hut, thanks to which the settlers transfer fish between warehouses. However, I think that this is not a good solution for the game. In general, everything works as it should, the only problem is with the fish.
Houses have different equipment inside, they could also use a container outside for water collected during rain. It's always some extra water in the game.
