winter length?

I put my village in the worst spot so decided to move when i found the mines. Which I didn't realize was close to winter time. So now all but one of my villagers are dead and we are struggling. It's day 26. How long do I have left before we can finally leave our hut for more then firewood and occasionally a small hunt.

A few more days. Seasons are about 7-8 days long but the first spring is shorter. My first winter ended day 28.
