7 days (ingame). Not long enough to be honest. and Autumn rains constantly so instead of getting clothing and food supplies you're stuck rebuilding everything. I think day/night and seasons, should be twice as long. Blood moons should be once a season, like the cycles of the moon.

But alas for some reason, they're always too short.

Night should be half as long as day, as during night you dont produce anything, just stay at base waiting to see if you will be attacked or not and need to defend it.

There should be no rotting of food in winter. That's common sense and should be implemented in the game asap.

Frozen food on the ground would absolutely rot, as being hard frozen usually destroys most of the fruit. Inuit eat meat frozen, as that's a different story. Frozen fruit in a wood storage bin would also rot if exposed directly to freezing temps. Eskimos (Inuit) don't eat frozen fruit, rather preserved.

"Because the climate of the Arctic is ill-suited for agriculture and lacks forageable plant matter for much of the year, the traditional Inuit diet is lower in carbohydrates and higher in fat and animal protein compared to the global average"

Where I live, here agriculture do happen even in winter and fields get covered in snow while there are vegetables growing. Nothing gets rotten or wasted as the vegetables being cultivated are suitable of that condition. We have seasonal crops in game. Meat/fish should not rot in winter as the temp in game reaches bellow (-)17. I gave an example, the game world is definitely not in arctic region.

If you are worried about winter, find your closest wulfar den, post a hunting marker right next to it, then let your hunters farm them for you ... build meat racks in your warehouse, you're gonna need them!
