Seed/Plant/tree/wildlife not respawning after 60+ days in
Everything was going pretty solid, even with bear/wolf etc attacks, able to fend them off. 2nd winter was way smoother than the 1st. But after i got to 3rd spring/summer none of the plants would respawn/regrow. I had tons of seeds left over, but i noticed later on they had all vanished. So im not sure if it was after winter. Or maybe after i loaded back into the game, after taking a break. But i have flags for many gathering points, that had worked just fine for the first 60 days. Im now stuck on day 71. My production lines are essentially dead.

So are we suppose to move bios after a set of time? Does the game have a mechanic that forces you to migrate?

I made a huge village, which i wouldnt had done if i had known resources dont regrow. I may try a new seed and not focus on one area so much. But not sure how im suppose to advance techs while having to pick up and move so often. It took me a little less than 70 in-game days to clear a forest and fields. The first 30 days knocked out a big chunk, but then i noticed toward 45-50'ish days none of the trees are showing back up. A couple of small ones here and there, but even if i left them alone they never seem to mature into full size for logs etc. Now its a plant/seeds problem, plenty of trees with distance, but small plants are none existent now, except for a few of the dwarf/stick tree things.

Seems spring is 10 days, summer is 12 and winter is 8. Just seems like anyway. If that's the case what is the respawn/growth time. Seems like summer would have everything small plant wise regrow every 3 days, or every 2 days maybe. I'm 6 days into it, nothing so far.

While writing this i had a thought about the market add-on. If that is suppose to be for setting up a chain. Thats all well and good, but not being able to build another summon stone or portal feels like it cripples setting up distant villages. I get moving villagers is pretty straight forward. The thought of running all the way back to starter village just to summon more villagers seems like a problem. I guess destroying the stone before leaving is an option. Just seems rather tedious for no real reason, or at least I'm not understanding the point of it.

I guess the devs didn't implement that part as they didn't expect anyone to survive for that long. Who knows. Have to wait for a fix or official answer. Migrating the town and leaving behind and empty, deserted village to decay can't be the option.

i guess late late game is not implemented yet.
2-3winters + all bosses and you are done for now.

The respawn issues is frankly a big problem in this game especially with the high cost/decay of things.

something that is not new. the issue was always there. nothing changed only the farm is new but not sure how much it helps. i made two of them with 6x16x16 fields. almost 30 villagers. and i am at the same stage/situation like the threadstarter. food was always full with hundreds of food and after the 2nd year 9 items left. some more tool tips like how much a villager is eating/day - a building produce/day to have some evaluation about the village. still missing and was often asked for in alpha. not sure where it is hidden if it has been implemendet. not sure what happened the last year+ but seems not so much as i hoped.

i am at year 2 with 30 villagers i have 3 farms running to keep them kind of fed..its just not fun to set all this things up just to notice the upkeep cant be done. nothing seems to regrow proper. pls devs fix this issue this kills the game for many ppl.

Above all, they must allow us to configure our games. But it is true that currently there is a problem of balancing the wear of tools and the available resources.

This is a very early observation, but I do seem to be seeing new "dwarf trees" showing up in previously harvested regions, and I've read elsewhere trees do go through a lifecycle from dwarf to thin (long sticks) to thick (logs.) I have not personally observed the progression. Dwarf trees seem to respawn just like wild food, e.g., onions, carrots and such.

No respawn on stone as far as I've observed. Draugr attacks can help a touch with local stone supplies since they drop a couple large stones and small stones when you harvest their corpses.

Wild food seems to respawn in the spring but I have observed that the stupid gatherers don't always notice it and will stand around complaining when there is food in the fields where you've previously placed gather markers.

Game areas seem to replenish over time, which I've personally observed. Hunters will run out of game for a spell and then they're back out hunting a game day or two later.

I didn't play the beta so I can't comment what's changed from the original playable versions.
Also this is based on personal observation and I'm happy to be corrected if you know better.
