Need the ability to make sloped terrain?
When levelling the area for the village, the terrain is forced to be made on many different levels.

Can the road making tool make the half a meter step into a slope or something?
Now I have to jump to get to the next level and I drop the big thing I were carrying. Workers have to go round, sometimes long ways.

I hope the leveling tool could be used to make a sloped terrain between the levels.
Just drag the area you need to make it and it makes a slope inside that area?

could that work?

Now it's pretty hard to try and make a little steppes with the ground leveling tool.

For sloping, just imagine like you'd do it realistically if you had a hoe and a hill. Start near the top, and "drag it back" to create a more even slope. Hit in a few places along a line perpendicular to the direction of you ramp. Then step back a bit, and do it again. Use single squares of terrain level field to cut away lumps or high points.

Yep, tried that. Treid to make flat areas for buildings on each step, but somehow I botched it.

Now there is half a meter step that I can navigate but the villagers struggle.

Were just hoping an easier way to make a path through terrain. ..like in Valheim. :P

use your hoe without the level plan, just hitting the ground changes it. then you see the results directly and can form the land how you see fit.

Ya, it's a bit hard to properly mold the terrain without the ability to add to it instead of pull chunks back. Best advice I have is to not use the flattening build option unless you really want to flatten a large area, OR, you want to mess around with trying to build large natural walls (it's possible, but hard). If you have trees/resources that cannot be moved anywhere near where you are trying to flatten, this also causes a lot of issues. Just stay away from those things when building. I had to restart because of this, among other things. The teraforming definitely needs some work, but it's manageable. I'm sure they'll get to it at some point.

Or. And hear me out... they can just add a freaking slope tool. It's not that hard.

A fancy road tool is being actively developed and will probably be made available soon, stay tuned for the roadmap update.
