How can I copy the seed of my current world?

How can I copy the seed of my current world? I have mines, water and a wolf nest nearby, but I developed the village incorrectly and I want to rebuild everything.

Hit escape and the seed is listed in the bottom left of the screen. :-)

I do not see the seed when I'm at the escape/pause screen
