Randomly generated world?
Is the world randomly generated, or is it static (as in its the same for every new game, bosses located in same spot etc)? Valheim did this great, hoping the Devs have learnt something from that smash-hit.

Well it's based on seeds. If you have the same seed. You can generate the same world. If not you'll generate a new one when it generates a new seed.

thanks for the speedy response. will check it out then. i was after the re-playability, which it will hopefully have if all worls are randomyl created.

The map seeds can greatly change the experience/difficulty of the game. My last map was a bit brutal and I made it to day 36ish. The higher tier crafting requires iron and there are only 3 caves per map. I managed to find what I thought to be a great build area to build. However, a bear in the area and 2 wolf dens meant my villagers kept getting attacked. I restarted and found a super fantastic, easy, seed that had a cave right next to the starting locations with no bears or wolves near by. So yes, the "random" seed base generation will definitely add to the replay ability.
