Does anyone know how I obtain linen to maker armor?

when you build the tailor addon to the working sheet you can make it in the side building (or use a task for your worker).

Just be aware - there are different add-ons to the workshop pit, but if I'm reading it correctly, you can only have two at a time, meaning you'd need to make an additional workshop pit (and they're huge). I chose tailor and weaver, but now I'm wishing I'd gone with tailor and carpenter.

We learned this the hard way in our game!

Leather working and weaving is the correct choice. Just make another workshop for metalwork and carpentry. They are meant to be together.
