I have no idea how data collection works for this, but it could be that it depends on used interface between steam and the devs. I´ve also get all achievements except the fishing ones yet.
Achievments are the social media plague of games. Absolutely stupid, pointless and worthless.
I mean, i'd probably care for really interesting and challenging achievments...i already did in some games. Those 5 out of 5 million games that even had really interesting achievments.
But most "achievments" in most games are just pointless. "Start a game" or "kill your first enemy" is not really an achievment. That's just basic gameplay. Looking at most achievments doesn't tell anything about anybody really achieved anything. It basically just tells he played the game at all.
And there's the other sort of achievments like "catch a fish"... well, you don't need to catch a fish. You can play the whole game without even catching a single fish. It's completely legit and catching a fish is not really something you need to achieve.
Imho an achievment should be a challenge.... if someone cares for achievments showing up in their profile at all.
Some kind of REAL achievment would be probably something like "kill 3 skeletons with one swing". Survive a winter without clothing, kill the bear without getting hit once. Survive a whole year without killing a single animal (including fish, going full vegetarian). THAT's an achievment.
But those worthless achievments, anybody reaches inevitably by just playing the regular progression has absolutely nothing to do with "achievments".
Agreed - The majority of achievements out there are completely worthless. My post was more about the strangeness of such a low number of people appearing to actually play the game after purchase - literally less than 5% - and whether this was indicative of bots or dummy accounts purchasing the game or what.
From thousands of comments i read from early access games yet, by far not just ASKA, many people still haven't understood what early access is. Some of them still however buy the game, just because of EA discount, but never play it in early stage. That's also part of early access.
Several of them may just have bought it yet, but will just start playing in the next weeks or months...
Relying on the achievment numbers, just because they are low, doesn't tell anything.
My guess is that the percentages for achievements are only accurate some time after release (or after the addition of the content as in my previous example) and it'll update overtime.
Well, I'm in Australia (OCE, Southeast Asia or w/e) and there isn't a single achieve over 5%. If people from other regions (NA, Europe etc) are reporting similar numbers, then the total number will still be 5%.
Thete will be your progress on most collectible achievements.
You need:
-50 mushrooms (yellow one count as 3);
-Something about 30 berries.
I mean, at least with a participation award you can distract someone with by throwing it at them.
