Thatch?

Is reed the only source for thatch?
If so it is not enough and its very low in supply. It should regrow after a full year.

Are you needing fiber? You can also get fiber from breaking down bark, just like you do thatch.

yeh finding that after you have cleaned out your area is just a pain, it really aught ot regrow.

Wouldn't it be great if all the plants we pick up regrew after spring or in late spring?
Like a reward for getting trough the winter. Since right now i have about 13 flags for my gatherer and she still comes over to tell me she can't find anything to gather.

I think they do regrow don't they? I swore I saw some randomly floating berry bush from an area that was formerly a hill for me. I think rocks respawn as well

Thatch really is an issues and Reeds should bloody regrow.....

Huge problem now I`m forced to run around the island to find some and is been over a year now and none of the reeds has grow back.

Im guessing at some point they will add wheat to get infinite thatch.

This game needs lakes.

Thatch currently regrows once per year, but we'll probably revisit this, keep you posted.

Maybe Thatch can drop seeds and it can be an option for farming?

I thought so, I've gone back to the same places I've gotten thatch and there is some. Maybe some of you have Fiber on High priority in the woodcutter's hut? The villagers will destroy whatever to make fibers and maybe that's why you aren't finding any? but I can't imagine everyone has someone gathering thatch all around the map, so I don't know.

When you find an iron mine, that will be your infinite stone deposit :)
