Builder Resource Flag

Does the circle have to reach the resource or the building being built? I've so many long sticks around,but workers are saying "can't find any long stick"

I think only woodcutters will pick logs from the ground within the radius of their "woodcutting" flag.

To be honest i have no idea what is the purpose of this "resource" flag.
I just placed it near my mine and waterwell to be sure.

The AI is so fkn dumb,im building a warehouse, i cut down like 10 trees there's at least 20 long sticks within 5m of the warehouse,even put a resource flag down,still says "cannot find any long stick" like wtf? It's doing my head in..

That thing alone is enough for me to give this game a thumbs down.. Cause even though i've everything set up seemingly fine, they just don't work. 4 builders sitting around saying there's no long stick,while im manually loading them up..

I haven't had that problem, but what I have encountered is that they'll pull all of the "building" stuff from an area, and then I have to put up a new "Builder" resource flag in a new area - they run through everything so quickly because you get crap for sticks & long sticks, while getting swamped with bark and logs.

I've a builder resource marker near 20 trees that i've cut down and chopped to sticks/logs and they still say no longs can be found,maybe cause it's on an incline? I dunno i legit got so frustrated that i started a new game... 10h of prog just gone,cause i can't figure out wtf is going on there.

I'm assuming the marker was right in the center of all of that, if not, did you hit "T" and select the option to view the radius?

Yep the radius was perfectly fine,even the building being built was in radius too. I dunno what's up there. Hopefully someone that knows will see this post and help us out :D

The "gathering" type buildings have their own radius I think, so you don't need a marker near those.

I mean the "building" resource flag,where builders pick up long sticks ect that are on the floor closer to the building,than the woodcutters pit.
